FAQ

Q: What are the requirements to join?

A: Simple!

  • You live in the United States.
  • You're a band, composer, dj, engineer, fan, instructor, label, musician, producer, songwriter, sound designer, studio, or venue.
  • You're friendly and awesome.

Q: I don't live in the USA. Can I still join?

A: Not at this time. We'd love to expand internationally, but have more work to do to ensure the Hendrix experience is awesome for our friends abroad. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when we launch new features or countries.

Q: Does a profile cost anything?

A: Nope! Profiles are 100% free.

Q: Will you ever add feature XYZ?

A: Maybe! This is just the start. We'd love to hear your ideas. Please contact us if you have any ideas for improving the app. We value your feedback.

Q: How do I contact other users?

A: After creating an account, click the message button at the top of any profile. It appears below the profile name.

Q: How do I receive payment for playing a gig?

A: At this time, payment is handled offline between the host and applicant. Hendrix is not responsible for non-payment or changes in payment terms. While we expect hosts to honor their payment terms, indicating interest does not enter any party into a legally binding contract or guarantee payment.

Q: How do I delete my account?

A: Login, click the profile icon, then click "settings". Click "Delete your account" in the "My Account" section.
